Ribut Surami is a hard-working and patient helper. She wants to work in Singapore to send her child to school. She is afraid of dogs. She is okay to work in a big house. She is not okay to work with 2 helpers.

EXPERIENCE

1) From 2001 - 2003: she worked in Kuwait taking care of a 7 years old child (Autism) and 12 years old child and sometimes helping in doing general housekeeping. The employer stayed in 1 storey with 6 bedrooms, 3 toilets, 9 family members, and 2 helpers. 

2) From April 2017 - April 2019: she worked in Singapore doing general housekeeping, cooking, marketing, and washing a car. The employer stayed in HDB with 4 rooms, 2 toilets, and 4 family members. She didn't continue her contract because the employer got retrenched.

3) From Feb 2020 - April 2024: she worked in Singapore taking care of 93-year-olds (walking stick and dementia), doing general housekeeping, and cooking. After working for 2 years Ah Ma was getting worse, then the employer decided to send Ah Ma to a nursing home. The employer stayed in HDB with 5 rooms, 1 toilet, and 1 family member.

ABILITY

She can speak and understand English better than basic. She can cook fried rice, fried noodles, opor, cap chye, chicken soup, pork soup, ABC soup, mushroom soup, steamed fish, steamed eggs, chicken rice, and porridge. She is willing to learn more about local cooking if the employer guides her. She is keen to take care of the elderly and children.

OFF-DAY AND COMPENSATION

Her basic salary is $ 690.00 and she is okay with 1 off day a month. Her gross salary is $ 771.00 with 3 off days compensation. Her phone can be used after work.
