“<p><strong>JANETH GAREZA DELA PEÑA</strong> is a 34-year-old married woman from Caloocan City. She is married to a 41-year-old machine technician, and together they are blessed with a 15-year-old daughter. She is the second child among five siblings, having two brothers and two sisters. Her 53-year-old mother is a housewife, while her father has already passed away. The household consisted of an elderly couple aged 82 and 79, along with their 18-year-old grandchild. She served as a live-in caregiver primarily responsible for the care of the 79-year-old female elder who was diagnosed with multiple myeloma. Her duties included assisting with personal hygiene, administering medications as prescribed, monitoring vital signs, preparing meals, assisting with mobility, and attending to the elder's daily needs. She also accompanied the patient to her weekly chemotherapy sessions, ensuring her comfort, safety, and adherence to medical instructions. Through this role, Janeth demonstrated patience, compassion, and dedication in providing quality care to a patient undergoing intensive treatment.</p><p><strong>PHILIPPINES from June 12 to June 27, 2023</strong>, she was hired by another Chinese family to care for a 30-year-old male patient who had undergone surgery for an anal fistula. During the patient's hospitalization, Janeth assisted with personal care, mobility support, medication reminders, feeding, and other daily needs. She closely followed the instructions of the attending doctors and nurses to ensure proper recovery. Her employment concluded when the patient was discharged from the hospital.</p><p><strong>Earlier in 2023, from</strong> <strong>May 1 to May 13</strong>, Janeth was engaged by a Chinese family to care for an 80-year-old female patient suffering from dementia and hypertension who was confined in the hospital. Her responsibilities included assisting with personal hygiene, feeding, monitoring the patient's condition, and providing companionship and emotional support. Due to the family's satisfaction with her service, she was rehired from June 16 to July 30, 2023, when the patient was admitted to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU). During this period, Janeth continued to provide attentive bedside care, ensuring the patient's comfort and assisting with all daily care requirements under medical supervision.</p><p>In addition to her caregiving experience, Janeth is confident in caring for newborns, infants, and young children. As a mother herself, she understands the importance of providing a safe, nurturing, and supportive environment for children. She is capable of preparing meals, feeding, bathing, dressing, supervising activities, and engaging children in educational and recreational activities that contribute to their overall development.</p><p>Janeth is particularly passionate about caring for elderly individuals and persons with special needs, as caregiving is a field she genuinely enjoys and wishes to further develop.
