Josan completed her secondary education at Julita National High School in 2009. She later pursued a degree in Business Administration at Colegio de San Gabriel Arcangel and completed it in 2017. She also took vocational training in Nursing Aid and Caregiving, which further developed her knowledge and skills in providing care and assistance to individuals who need special attention.
She has previous work experience as a Cashier from July 2018 to December 2018 and again from July 2020 to December 2021. She then worked as a Pharmacy Assistant from January 2022 to January 2023, where she gained experience in assisting customers and handling responsibilities in a healthcare-related environment.
Since February 2023 to present, Josan has been working in homecare services, providing care to elderly patients. Her experience includes caring for patients with dementia, Alzheimer’s disease, and those who are bedridden. Her duties include assisting with feeding, bathing, taking vital signs, changing diapers, and maintaining the patient’s bed and personal surroundings. Through this experience, she has developed patience, compassion, attentiveness, and the ability to handle the daily needs of elderly patients.
With her Nursing Aid and Caregiving training and hands-on experience, Josan is particularly interested in working as a caregiver or domestic worker with elderly or special-needs individuals. She understands the importance of providing not only physical assistance but also patience, respect, and emotional support to those under her care.
Aside from caregiving, Josan is capable of performing various household chores, including cleaning, laundry, ironing, and maintaining an organized home. Her combination of caregiving training, practical elderly-care experience, and household skills makes her a suitable candidate for a domestic worker or caregiver position. She is motivated to work overseas and is willing to adapt to a new environment while providing quality care and assistance to her future employer and family.
Upon selection, Josan will undergo a one-week In-House Private Training Program in Manila accredited by TESDA, followed by an OWWA orientation seminar prior to the processing of her Overseas Employment Certificate and eventual deployment.
