Self Introduction
“<p><strong>MERCY PADILLA ONDIS</strong> is a 38-year-old married woman from Trece Martires, Cavite. She is married to a 39-year-old factory worker, and although they do not have children yet, they are working hard to build a secure and comfortable future for their family.</p><p>Mercy is the second child in a family of ten siblings, with four brothers and five sisters. She was raised by parents who taught her the values of hard work, patience, and compassion. Her 61-year-old father is a farmer, while her 62-year-old mother serves as a barangay councilor. Growing up in a large and supportive family helped develop her nurturing personality and strong sense of responsibility.</p><p>She completed her secondary education at Pio Duran National High School in 2004. In 2023, she completed a Health Care Services (Caregiver) course and earned her caregiving certification. Her training provided her with the skills and knowledge needed to care for individuals with different medical conditions and special needs.</p><p><strong>Mercy worked as a factory worker from 2005 to 2020, where she gained valuable experience in maintaining discipline, efficiency, and attention to detail.</strong></p><p><strong>Since May 2023</strong>,<strong> she has been employed as a Health Care Assistant and Caregiver in a medical clinic.</strong> In her current role, she assists a wide range of patients, monitors vital signs, and carries out doctors’ instructions.</p><p>Her caregiving experience includes assisting elderly patients with dementia and diabetes. She is familiar with providing daily care, monitoring blood sugar levels and vital signs, administering support as instructed by medical professionals, and ensuring that patients are safe, comfortable, and well attended to. Her experience has strengthened her ability to care for patients with patience, compassion, and attentiveness.</p><p>She is confident in cooking Filipino dishes and can prepare nutritious meals for both patients and families. She is enthusiastic about learning new recipes and adapting to her employer’s preferred style of cooking.</p><p>Mercy is a hardworking, trustworthy, and compassionate individual who is eager to use her caregiving skills and experience to support her future employer. With her professional training, hands-on clinical experience, and genuine dedication to caring for others, she is well qualified for caregiving and household responsibilities.</p><p>Upon selection, Mercy will undergo a one-week TESDA-accredited In-House Private Training in Manila, followed by an OWWA orientation seminar, before the processing of her Overseas Employment Certificate for deployment.</p>
